Vườn Quê Phản Công: common questions
The answers below cover how the game saves progress, its ads, how to report a problem, and updates.
Where is game progress saved?
Progress is saved on the device, in the game’s own storage. The game has no accounts, so progress can’t be moved from an Android device to an iPhone or iPad, or the other way around.
Do I lose progress if I delete the app, reinstall it, or switch devices?
It depends on the operating system, and on whether device backup is turned on.
- Android: deleting the app removes the progress on the device. If Google backup is turned on, reinstalling the game or moving to another Android device with the same Google account can bring the progress back.
- iPhone, iPad: if you delete the app (Delete App) and reinstall it, the progress can’t be recovered. Offload App only removes the app and keeps its data, so reinstalling brings the progress back. Once the app has been deleted, the progress only comes back when you restore the whole device from an iCloud backup or a backup on a computer, or when you set up a new iPhone or iPad by transferring data from an old device that still has the progress.
Does the game have ads?
Yes, but only rewarded ads, and players choose whether to watch them. The offer to watch only appears in Tiệm Chú Bảy (the shop) and after losing a level, once the shop is open. Watching an ad to the end gives Xu, the in-game coins, up to 3 times a day. Ads never give stars, plants or progress.
There are no ads that interrupt play, and no banners. The game only accepts ads suitable for all ages.
How do I report a problem?
The game is for players aged 7 and up, so I’d like a parent or another adult to email me on the child’s behalf. In your email, please include:
- the device name;
- the operating system version;
- the game’s version number;
- when the problem happened, on which level, and what you did just before.
If you have screenshots, attach them, but make sure they don’t show a real name, a phone number or other personal information.
The game doesn’t show its version number yet, so check it in your device settings:
- Android: open Settings, tap Apps, then tap Vườn Quê Phản Công. The version number is at the bottom of the page. Menu names may differ slightly depending on the phone maker.
- iPhone, iPad: open Settings, tap General, tap iPhone Storage (iPad Storage on an iPad), then tap Vườn Quê Phản Công. The version number is at the top of the page.
The game says there’s a new version. What do I do?
When a new version is out, the game shows a “Có bản mới” (New version) box with two buttons. Tap “Cập nhật” (Update) to open the game’s page on the App Store or Google Play and update there. Tap “Để sau” (Later) and the game won’t ask about that version again for a day.
If the installed version is too old, the box only has the “Cập nhật” button, and you need to update to keep playing.
