Vietnamese to the core
Bird's eye chilli, coconut and banana in the garden; bà Tư, chú Bảy the scrap collector, Trâu Mập the buffalo; village market day, harvest day, a straw broom and a mouse trap.
A lane defense game set in a Mekong Delta village.
Spending the summer at his grandmother’s, city boy Bin joins bà Tư and the plants that “wake up” in her garden to defend Làng Rạch Đa against the Bóng Tím horde: mud-bodied undead born from the “Immortal Serum” of Professor Hủ Mục, a childhood friend of hers.
The zombies never really hurt anyone. They trudge along their lanes, and the way to hold the garden is to plant the right thing, in the right place, at the right time.
"Plants are not immortal. Plants leave seeds."
Bird's eye chilli, coconut and banana in the garden; bà Tư, chú Bảy the scrap collector, Trâu Mập the buffalo; village market day, harvest day, a straw broom and a mouse trap.
Chapter 1 is the home garden. Chapter 2 moves out to the ripe rice fields: a winding dike map with several routes, plus zombies that fly and zombies that burrow.
Put two plants next to each other to cook a dish and unlock a new move, such as Muối Ớt Chanh or Chè Chuối Nước Cốt Dừa.
Funny and warm. The zombies are only copies made of mud, and no real person is harmed.
